We need to have patience and understanding...

is what our case co-ordiantor said to us today when we called to see if things were arranged to take Sophie's BM to the Embassy interview. Pardon me, but WHAT THE MOTHER GOOSE!!! Patience, um 16 months, understanding? Gee I'm sorry I really should have tried to understand what she must be going through, MY BAD. Three Embassy appointments missed by the BM who was "in jail" (still no proof), no proof that she they still know where she is... But they're right I really should have thought about their needs... Instead of hers:

I don't think Job could even have as much patience as you've had during this process. It would have taken everything I had not to tell them where to go.

Hang in there! Little Sophie will be home SOON! You've got lots of prayer warriors sending up their pleas for you. Me included! Let's pray Sophie HOME!!

Horrible agency! How insensitive of them! You have been EXTREMELY patient, and you should be reminding that every chance you get. Tell them it's been 16 months of waiting. They should know it, but they don't care. Tell them it's MORE THAN HALF of poor Sophie's life, but just a tiny bit of their lives. And once this process is over for them, it's OVER for them but a new life for Sophie is waiting to start!

Agencies stink. I'm sorry you are going through this.

I have been following your blog since you left it on the Vietnam Group. You have some BEAUTIFUL children. I am sorry about how long it is taking for you to get to Sophie.

I was also wondering, have you been given new travel dates for Vietnam. I look forward to hearing about all your upsoming good news.
