For all those adoptive families

I once saw on the Rosie O'Donnell Show (oh dear when was that cancelled), that the song from Tarzan, "You'll be in my heart" was about adoption. Have you ever stopped and listened to the words? WOW!
Somedays I love telling the whole world Luke is adopted and that he's ours and home forever.. If I tell you! Why do you need to ask me if my son is adopted while I'm enjoying lunch with my family? I don't ask you if those are your natural children. People think the bond between a mother and a child can only be created in the womb? (comments such as "You'll love them like they are your own")
UGH Read the lyrics enjoy the video!

Come stop your crying, it will be all right
Just take my hand, hold it tight
I will protect you from all around you
I will be here dont you cry

For one so small, you seem so strong
My arms will hold you keep you safe and warm
This bond between us cant be broken
I will be here dont you cry

And youll be in my heart
Yes, youll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
Youll be in my heart
No matter what they say
Youll be here in my heart
Always

Why cant they understand the way we feel
They just dont trust what they cant explain
I know were different but deep inside us
Were not that different at all

And youll be in my heart
Yes, youll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
Youll be in my heart
No matter what they say
Youll be here in my heart
Always

Dont listen to them, cause what do they know
We need each other, to have and to hold
Theyll see in time, I know

When destiny calls you, you must be strong
I may not be with you, but you gotta hold on
Theyll see in time, I know

Well show them together cuz...

Youll be in my heart
I believe, youll be in my heart
Ill be there from this day on
Now and forever more

Youll be in my heart
No matter what they say
Youll be here in my heart always

Always...
Ill be with you
Ill be there for you always
Always and always
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
Ill be there always

I'm right there with you about strangers making comments about the kiddos all the time!! You'll love him like he's your own --- give me a break, people, this boy is more "my own" than you can ever understand!!! It's so unfortunate (for them) that they can't understand :) I love the song lyrics, thanks for sharing!!

Somebody just try and tell me that Gia is not my own. I'll knock 'em out:) Sometimes even I forget that I didn't give birth to her.
